英語で製造中止、生産中止を伝える
頻繁にモデルや仕様が変わるものは、問い合わせのたびに製造中止を伝えねばならないこともあります。また、数年に一度しか購入しないものであっても、顧客は当然まだ買えるものと思って、まるで昨日買ったような調子で問い合わせてくることもあるかもしれません。
そんなときは製造中止した旨を伝えることと、代替品や、後継モデル、近い仕様や性能・機能を持った製品を紹介してあげるとよいと思います。またものによっては製造中止後も７年間はサポートを行うなどの規定があるかもしれません。こうした場合は、製造中止のアナウンスとともに、あとあとのトラブルを避けるためにも今後何年間サポートは行っていくが、それ以降はサポートの対象外となることなども明記するとよいでしょう。
